A ten session program where you can choose to focus on the specific skills you’d like to develop. Designed specifically and exclusively for students at Orpheus.
Teacher, Mr. Jonathan Ramgopal
In the music world, the best players don't just memorize charts—they adapt, collaborate, and think on their feet. This enhancement session focuses on exactly that: the real-world skills musicians need to walk into a live room or an exam space with total confidence.
Because Playback and Improvisation are an essential component of the face-to-face Trinity Rock & Pop syllabus, we focus heavily on mastering them. Students learn how to nail a brand-new piece of music on the spot and instinctively jam their own ideas over a backing track. By taking the guesswork and anxiety out of these disciplines, this course gives students the sharp instincts they need to ace their Trinity exams and confidently share the stage with other musicians.

Building directly on the success of last year's Public Speaking sessions, Spotlight Ready is our new ten session program. The aim is to provide a warm, safe space where students can talk openly about the unique pressures they face, and combine it with a high-energy, activity-based laboratory where science meets the stage. Through specialized theater games, vocal play, sports psychology frameworks, and improvisation, students will learn how to voice their challenges, and express themselves freely—all while having an absolute blast.
Teacher, Ms. Alena Katovich
This session is designed to build musical literacy and confidence from the very first steps. On the theory side, we cover the essentials of reading and writing notes, along with pitch and rhythm recognition in both treble and bass clefs. Alongside this, students will develop core aural skills—including active listening, musical memory, and rhythmic accuracy—using a blend of piano accompaniments and printed music to build vital ear-to-eye coordination.

Developing strong sight-reading skills is an essential milestone for every music student. As this discipline forms an integral component of Trinity's Classical & Jazz face-to-face exams, this course builds a rock-solid foundation by improving pitch, rhythm accuracy, and nerves when handling unfamiliar material giving students the gift of musical independence and exam readiness.
Teacher, Ms. Maryna Borsuk
Designed for continuing musicians, this session elevates both analytical understanding and practical listening. On the theory side, we move past the basics into advanced note reading, complex rhythm recognition, and deeper musical analysis across both clefs. Complementing this, the aural training challenges students with advanced pitch recognition and intricate rhythmic accuracy. By combining sophisticated printed music with live or recorded accompaniments, students will sharpen their ear-to-eye coordination and develop a rich, descriptive vocabulary for confident, expressive musical responses.
